Stars with endorsement deals who are older than Rose Byrnes

AUSSIE actress Rose Byrnes was ditched by Oroton for being ‘too old’. But compared to other stars who have endorsement deals, she’s still young.

THIS may come as a shock, but there’s a string of successful female stars older than Rose Byrne who still have endorsement deals.

The 37-year-old Australian actor was given the boot from high-end accessory brand Oroton this week with management saying they would replace her with “younger influences” — and presumably less expensive ones.

Byrne, who has a one-year-old son Rocco, was first signed to Oroton in 2014.

The unexpected announcement has caused a stir in the fashion world, particularly due to the fact that Byrnes is still relatively young compared to other big names that still hold contracts.

“Nicole embodies the true spirit of the women that we are committed to everyday, their passion, strength and focus are what makes Neutrogena women so special,” Group Marketing Manager of Johnson & Johnson Pacific, Carla Speeling, said at the time.

“Nicole will help us encourage women to embrace their beauty through the lens of skin health and empower women to see what’s possible with Neutrogena.”

The star is already an ambassador for iconic perfume Chanel No. 5, which is believed to be the highest selling fragrance in the world.

She reportedly earns $4 million a year off the deal, which was first struck in 2003.

JANE FONDA

Two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda will turn 80 this year, but the actress is still radiant as a spokesperson for French cosmetics company L’oreal Paris, where she works as the face of Age Perfect.

“Age has long been seen as a pathology. I see it not as pathology, but as potential,” Fonda said.

“It means growing more self-confident, more forgiving of yourself and others and above all staying interested and taking care of yourself. If I look good for my age it’s because I’ve stayed curious and healthy.”
