MOST Hollywood celebrities go all out for a birthday bash, especially a 50th — but what exactly did Sarah Jessica Parker do for hers?

The Sex and the City star chose a low-key family outing in New York City to welcome herself to the 50s, sharing some special moments on social media.

Parker’s day started with a home-cooked breakfast from her kids: “My day so far: first this happened. Prepared and plated and table set by 2 pixies who make waking on this day ever more wonderful,” she captioned the pic.

Husband Matthew Broderick was absent for the daytime celebrations as he’s currently performing in ‘It’s Only A Play.’

Parker was later seen heading out into New York City to visit the Empire State Building with 12-year-old son James and five-year-old twin daughters Tabitha and Marion.

“Thanks to all @EmpireStateBldg for your hospitality,” she wrote on Instagram.

It’s a far cry from her crazy city escapades as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City.
