Prince Harry has been spotted at London’s Heathrow Airport as he prepares to return to Meghan Markle and their kids in LA after his reunion with Prince William.

Prince Harry has been spotted at Heathrow Airport as he prepares to jet back to the US after a whirlwind trip to the UK where he reunited with Prince William and honoured their late mother.

The Duke of Sussex arrived at Terminal 5 in a VW Minibus, accompanied by two security personnel in the front seats on Friday, The Sun reports.

Harry is set to return home to California where he will be reunited with wife Meghan Markle, and their children Archie and Lilibet after Thursday’s moving ceremony which marked what would have been Princess Diana’s 60th birthday.

Harry, Duke of Sussex, and his brother Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex put on a united front at the ceremony as they unveiled a statue of Diana, Princess of Wales, at Kensington Palace.

William and Harry appeared to put aside their differences – at least temporarily – after 18 months of fractured relations. They have scarcely been on speaking terms since the Sussexes’ decision to step down as working royals.

Although there were no speeches at the statue unveiling in the palace’s Sunken Garden, a favourite haunt of Diana, the brothers did release the statement. “Today, on what would have been our mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better,” they said.

“Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen for ever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.”

The statue, by Ian Rank-Broadley, shows Diana with three children. The garden where it stands, which is closed to the public but can be seen from the surrounding walkway, has been redesigned by Pip Morrison. The brothers praised them in the statement, also thanking “all those around the world who keep our mother’s memory alive”.

Kensington Palace said: “The statue aims to reflect the warmth, elegance and energy of Diana, Princess of Wales, in addition to her work and the impact she had on so many people. The portrait and style of dress was based on the final period of her life as she gained confidence as an ambassador for humanitarian causes and aims to convey her character and compassion.”
