Prince Harry may name royal ‘racist’ in new book leaving Buckingham Palace terrified

An expert has said Prince Harry may be under pressure to reveal the Palace’s alleged bigot in his new memoir due to the hefty advance he was paid.

The Royal Family is bracing for another devastating attack from Prince Harry — as he personally researches his mother’s life for a new book.

Experts also fear he may use the memoir to name the “royal racist”, the member of the royal family allegedly who asked how dark baby Archie’s skin would be.

According to The Sun, Harry, 37, has a £15 million ($A28 million) advance from publishers for the book.

Royal insiders believe he will now be under extreme pressure to identify the family member he alleges made racist remarks about the colour of baby son Archie’s skin.

Harry is understood to have been contacting Princess Diana’s old friends for the purpose of doing research.

It had been thought Prince Harry would leave most of the work to a ghostwriter but it seems now he is taking his role as an author far more seriously

Palace sources are “surprised” at how involved he has become.

There are concerns that he is delving into Diana’s life and divorce and what he finds out will paint Prince Charles and Camilla as the villains in his book.

Harry has mentioned previously how he took wife Meghan and Archie to the US to stop “history repeating itself” — and drew comparisons to his mother Diana who became a victim of media scrutiny.

Royal expert Penny Junor said due to the high advance for the book, “The publishers are going to want a lot for their money, such as naming this so-called racist.

“He’s researching his mother’s life so he’s going to be talking about his parents’ marriage, the break up, the affairs. That could be incredibly damaging for his father and Camilla. Charles is going to be king and Camilla his queen. The last thing they or the country needs is another upsurge of anger based on what I believe to be false, false accusations.”

In March, Harry told US talk show queen Oprah Winfrey he would never name the alleged royal racist.

But The Sun reported that he and Meghan, 40, are under pressure to release it due to the size of the multi-book deal the couple secured with Penguin Random House — but only one is thought to be a memoir.

As of this time Buckingham Palace has not issued comment.
