One Direction star Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth decide on unusual name for baby boy

ONE Direction star Louis Tomlinson and his ex-girlfriend have reportedly decided on a very unusual name for their baby boy.

ONE Direction star Louis Tomlinson has reportedly named his son Sydney Rain.

The 24-year-old pop star became a first-time father on Friday with US stylist Briana Jungwirth.

“Louis and Briana are yet to file a birth certificate but they’ve agreed on the name Sydney Rain. It will be rubber-stamped in the next five days,” a source told The Sun.

“It’s not yet known whether the baby boy will take Briana’s surname or Tomlinson.”

The couple now also face the problem of sorting out custody of the child, as Louis is no longer with the mother. He is now dating Disney star and actress Danielle Campbell.

The source added: “There’s already a lot of talk about who is going to pay what. The family have slightly exaggerated expectations of what Louis should be contributing every month.”

Louis confirmed on Saturday that the baby had arrived safely.

“I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I’m very happy!!” he tweeted.

The Sun first revealed that Louis would be the first member of One Direction to become a father last year.

He has never spoken publicly about it, but did confirm the news during an awkward moment on US television.

When he was congratulated by the interviewer, Louis replied: “Thank you, yeah, erm, obviously it’s a very exciting time, so, err, I’m buzzing, thank you.”

On Friday, The Sun revealed that the One Direction star’s ex had delivered their son in a Los Angeles hospital.

The morning after Sydney’s birth, he was seen in Los Angeles shopping for sunglasses.
