While the 47-year-old turned up to the Women in Film Crystal & Lucy Awards looking stunning in a sparkly Nina Ricci gown with tousled hair and a red pout — her make-up artist appears to have made a major beauty blunder when powdering her face.

Aside from the over-powdered face, Nic looked stunning.

Pictures of Nicole show a blotchy layer of white powder covering her forehead, nose and chin.

While her face would have looked flawless in person, under the harsh glow of the paparazzi camera flash, the powder is illuminated.

It’s a rookie error for Hollywood make-up artists — who seem to forget the difference between powder for film and powder for flash photography.
