MANY new parents will know that one of the first things to slip when looking after a new baby is your fitness routine. Unless, of course, you’re arguably Australia’s fittest couple.
The Biggest Loser trainers Michelle Bridges and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis have struck upon a novel solution for the problem: just bring baby Axel along for their workouts.
The super-healthy pair were snapped doing an outdoor workout in Sydney’s Rushcutters Bay Park earlier this month, with their three-month-old son in tow.
The couple copped criticism soon after Axel’s birth on December 19 last year, when Bridges quickly returned to a regular exercise routine.
“The lounge chair and a lot of other things are killing people a lot more than someone who has just had a baby and pushing a pram on the footpath,” Willis said at the time. Bridges insisted she had already got the OK from her doctor to begin training again.
The loved-up couple are now in Tahiti with baby Axel, taking their second holiday to the exotic location in under a year following their ‘babymoon’ last August.
