MARRIED at First Sight’s Alex Garner and Zoe Hendrix have introduced their daughter to the world sharing the first picture of her on Instagram.

The couple welcomed daughter Harper-Rose into the world on November 14 at 10:35pm.

Speaking of parenthood 27-year-old Hendrix told Woman’s Day she was thrilled to be a mum.

“This moment has been a long time coming,” she said.

“Sitting here holding something so precious — that is a part of me, that is my blood — is something I’ve always dreamt of, and I will cherish it forever.”

Garner told the publication; “Zoe was meant to be a mum”.

Hendrix, who was past her due date, was eager to give birth to her daughter, as partner Garner revealed when he shared a video of her on Instagram showing the then-heavily pregnant mum to be trying to bring on labour.

Hendrix, who previously suffered a miscarriage, initially had a difficult time with the pregnancy, after being diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition with causes severe morning sickness.

“I was in hospital for two days on a drip and was vomiting 30 times a day,” she said previously of the condition which the Duchess of Cambridge also experienced.

“It’s calmed down a lot now, so I’m starting to enjoy the journey.”

Hendrix and Garner were the only couple to remain together after season one of the social experiment.
