MARIAH Carey and ex Nick Cannon have played happy family for Halloween, despite filing for divorce about a year ago.
The 45-year-old diva attended the spooky party with her billionaire man James Packer as Carey and Cannon, 35, played nice for the sake of their twins, Monroe and Moroccan, aged four.
The trio dressed up for the occasion with Packer opting for a toned-down costume, wearing a suit and a Phantom of the Opera mask.
In true Carey fashion, she wore a sexy witch outfit and her former husband wore a Hulk mask.
Carey and Packer got cosy as they posed for cameras during her bash, held at Beverly Hills on Saturday night.
In an interview in August, Packer described Carey as a “genius.”
Packer was seen off stage clapping and cheering wildly after her performance in Israel outside of Tel Aviv.
“Yes, yes, yes I loved it and it was a magic night” he said at the time.
“She’s a genius and has had more no. 1 singles than any other artist. And she is not political, she is an entertainer. Everyone just loved her. They might not know she has not had an easy life but still went on to write more no. 1 hits than anyone else. I mean 18 number one hits, that is just so incredible.
“I mean who else is there? There is Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Not Madonna. Just Streisand, Houston and Mariah. I mean I’m not saying there is anything wrong with Madonna or Madonna’s music but those three can sing five octaves. Madonna can’t. Mariah is just incredible, amazing she really is.”
Packer and Carey made their love public in June after they were spotted holding hands on a holiday in Italy.
The match baffled celebrity watchers in the US, who suggested while he’s not the most handsome of suitors, he’s got other assets.
“I hope this is real and not staged,” Lindy Lou wrote on celebrity website TMZ at the time.
“Packer’s not the most handsome guy, but in interviews I’ve seen, he seems a likeable, no BS guy.”
