MADONNA has written a heartfelt note about her son Rocco after he fled to London.
The 15-year-old lad left his mum in December to live with his dad Guy Ritchie but the time away from him is clearly taking its toll as she has once again posted about how much she misses him on Instagram, reports The Sun.
Next to a photo of the teenager, she wrote on Instagram: “I miss this boy so full of life so full@of@love!”
Referring to his star sign, she added: “I hope we see that Leo Sun soon. The light is blinding!”
The Living For Love singer, 57, is now fighting a lengthy custody battle with ex-husband Guy over Rocco, but is still on the road with her Rebel Heart Tour, which will finally end in Australia next month following half a year of shows.
In December Madonna asked a judge to order him to return home but his lawyer told Manhattan’s Supreme Court “he does not want to return to New York”.
He was expected to fly back to the city in January for school but failed to do so.
A full custody hearing is scheduled to take place next month.
She posted on her social media about him last week too, sharing a photo of Rocco as a baby on her back with the caption, “Tu me manque,” which translates as “I miss you.”
In another post overnight she shared an image featuring the phrase: “The ones who are hardest to love are usually the ones who need it the most.”
However, she has cause for concern about her eldest son as he has been photographed smoking suspicious looking cigarettes on two different occasions since coming to London.
A source said: “Rocco is running wild on the streets of London without any thought about how this is affecting him in the long term.
“Any teenager given that kind of freedom is likely to behave in a certain way.
“He needs proper supervision and a firm guiding hand at this crucial stage in his development.
“Is him smoking like this in public with a gang of older boys really appropriate?
“Some might say that Rocco is only doing what thousands of young British teenagers in parks all over the UK.
“But it is certainly not what Madonna wants for her son.”
