Khloe Kardashian says she feels like she’s having an out-of-body experience amid Tristan Thompson’s paternity scandal.

The reality star tweeted her state of mind after a critic accused her of making a face while Halle Berry was on stage at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday, the New York Post reports.

“That’s disappointing my face gave that expression. Halle Berry is such a force. Absolutely Stunning and beyond talented,” Kardashian, 37, tweeted after a critic accused her of shading the actress during the 2021 People’s Choice Awards.

She added: “Tbh I’m barely in my own body right now. Please don’t read into anything. Also please don’t tear me apart because you assumed something.”

Kardashian’s attendance at the California awards show was her first public appearance since news broke last week that 30-year-old Thompson, the father of her three-year-old daughter True, allegedly fathered a child with another woman.

Page Six reported on Friday that personal trainer Maralee Nichols was suing Thompson for child support for her son after he allegedly impregnated her while he was still dating Khloe Kardashian.

Ms Nichols alleged that the NBA player offered her $US74,000 ($A103,000) in “hush money” to get an abortion.

He also accused Nichols of using the paternity suit as a way of gaining fame, according to new court documents filed this week. He added that the messages between them that Nichols shared were an “attempt to smear” him and they are “wholly and clearly fabricated”.

Tristan Thompson notoriously cheated on Khloe days before she gave birth to their daughter.

The baby boy, born last week, was allegedly conceived on Thompson’s 30th birthday in March – while he was still dating Kardashian.

Thompson copped to having sex with Nichols several times at a hotel after they attended a party together, but claimed that was the only time they shared a rendezvous.

However, Nichols’ lawyers claim their affair began at least “five months” before his 30th birthday and involved Nichols travelling to California to see Thompson on multiple occasions. They also allege that the tryst continued after she got pregnant.

The athlete notoriously cheated on Kardashian just days before she gave birth to their daughter. They continued to date on and off as more cheating scandals popped up but ultimately broke up in June.

But Kardashian and Thompson have clearly stayed connected to some degree, with Kardashian revealing in March they even froze embryos together.

The Sacramento Kings player also shares four-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.
