Kelly Clarkson welcomes second child, Remington Blackstock

AMERICAN Idol winner Kelly Clarkson and her music manager husband, Brandon Blackstock, have welcomed a sibling for daughter, River Rose.

AMERICAN Idol winner Kelly Clarkson and her music manager husband, Brandon Blackstock, welcomed their second child together this week.

“Our little baby boy has arrived,” the 33-year-old singer tweeted on Thursday. “Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn’t be happier or more in love!”

The New York Post reports that Clarkson first announced news of her pregnancy onstage at LA’s Staples Centre to a surprised crowd in August 2015 and a month later cancelled her remaining tour dates.

“I was not planning on announcing this but I’m totally pregnant,” she said at the time. “I didn’t want you to think I was on pills or something! Everything is great. I haven’t vomited yet, that’s a win.”

Clarkson and Blackstock, 39, married in Tennessee in 2013 after two years of dating and welcomed daughter River Rose in June 2014.

Blackstock also has two children from a previous relationship. His father, Narvel Blackstock was married to country singer Reba McIntyre for 26 years before announcing their split earlier this year.
