KATIE Price has done it again.
The British TV personality (better known here as Peter Andre’s ex) arrived at a photocall on Wednesday with a live pink horse while dressed as a fluffy unicorn.
Posing for the cameras, Katie can be seen holding onto the bemused horse, which was dyed pink from head to hoof for the event.
The move has angered PETA, who have criticised her use of a horse as a “prop”. She was slammed by the animal rights organisation earlier on in the week for shaving designs into her daughter’s ponies’ backsides.
Eight-year-old daughter Princess and 10-year-old son Junior were in tow, wearing matching pink and blue versions of their mum’s outfit.
And hubby Kieran Hayler was there to show his support at the event too, dressed in his very own adult-sized unicorn costume.
The soiree was held to mark the launch of Katie’s new reality series Katie Price’s Pony Club, which looks set to air on TLC later on in the year.
Katie stunned onlookers by wearing a massive white horn on her head, showing off her slender figure in a white bedazzled jumpsuit and matching pink shoes.
She pouted up a storm on the pink carpet in London, before inviting her family up to join her and her pink horse.
The star was forced to defend herself earlier this week after being slammed for shaving hearts into her ponies’ coats.
Katie reacted by posting a sarcastic comment on a picture of herself sitting on a statue of a donkey posted to Instagram: “Don’t you feel sorry for this donkey ... Clippers on its way.”
She decided to show off the pretty ponies in preparation for her new reality series.
The show will follow the star’s children as they compete in “elitist” pony club events.
Katie recently posted a snap of daughter Princess on Instagram as she got to grips with horse riding.
She captioned the image: “Check out the patterns we put on Princess’s pony.”
Fans were quick to slam the designs as “wrong” and “disgusting” on the site, while one social media user quipped “leave the pony alone”.
Speaking on the questionable styling, Peta UK director Mimi Bekhechi said: “An unskilled groomer could easily nick a horse with clippers, causing cuts or lesions.
“Clipping patterns into a horse’s hair is about human vanity and reduces smart, sensitive animals to playthings.
“If Ms Price wishes to shave hearts and diamonds into someone’s hair, we suggest she use her own head and leave animals out of it.”
However, it is not uncommon for horse’s winter coats to be clipped as a means to avoid excess sweating during exercise, which can make them feel uncomfortable.
And Katie’s loyal followers were quick to point out that the same can be done in summer, if absolutely necessary.
