KATE Hudson said she was ‘afraid, very afraid’ when her older brother joined Instagram two weeks ago. It didn’t take long for her worst fears to be realised.

KATE Hudson had every right to be “afraid, very afraid” when her older brother joined Instagram.

Two weeks ago the Almost Famous star posted a photo of her sibling Oliver Hudson on Instagram to welcome him to the social media site.

“I apologise for him in advance,” she said to her fans in the caption.

“I already know that myself and my other brothers will be at the mercy of his public account because that’s just how he works. I’m afraid, very afraid.”

And it didn’t take long for her worst fears to be realised.

On January 19, Oliver Hudson, who stars in the TV show Nashville, posted a naked selfie on Instagram much to the delight of his 52,000 followers.

Oliver captioned the photo: No place like home ... #notanlines

But little sister Kate was not impressed.

“Is this really necessary?” she wrote in the comments section of the picture.

Necessary ... no.

Amusing ... yes.
