Beloved Australian popstar Jessica Mauboy and her boyfriend of 10 years, Themeli Magripilis, are officially engaged, and she’s finally given us a glimpse of the ring.
Announcing the happy news with a loved-up photo on Instagram earlier this month, Magripilis reportedly popped the question on a beach while holidaying in his native Greece.
Today, the singer shared her own announcement on Twitter along with a loved-up snap with her fiance, clearly displaying the sparkler on her ring finger.
“The love of my life proposed to me in his family’s home town of Kalymnos, Greece on the beach at sunset,” she captioned the photo.
“We are so happy... I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Thank you for all the love,” she posted.

“My paradise,” Magripilis captioned the above photo on Instagram.
The couple met on a dance floor in Darwin when Mauboy was just 18, and had been in a long-distance relationship until Magripilis relocated to Sydney three years ago.
The engagement news comes after Mauboy shut down wedding whispers while speaking to Kyle and Jackie O in August.
“Have you organised any weddings? This boyfriend has been hanging around for a long time now,” Kyle asked.
“I haven’t had any time to pull that stuff together!” Mauboy, 30, responded.
Mayboy revealed earlier this year that her now-fiance has been her songwriting inspiration — though not just for love songs.
Speaking with Nova 96.9’s Fitzy and Wippa, she said her single Little Things was written about an argument they had.
“It does stem from my relationship, and unfortunately it was a disagreement between me and my partner, Them,” she told the radio hosts about the hit.
“Which is great, I mean, a song came out of it,” she joked.
“This disagreement started on a Saturday night and then it trailed all the way through to Sunday. It was pretty shitty,” she said, before reassuring that despite the disagreement her relationship was still better than ever.
Mauboy is currently promoting her upcoming album, Hilda, which will be released on October 18.
