JESINTA Campbell has said she wasn’t snubbed by Kylie Jenner at the Vera Wang show during New York fashion week, but rather there is an unspoken rule that you don’t chat to other celebs.
Speaking on The Today Show this morning, Campbell told host Karl Stefanovic that she was just doing what she was told when she kept to herself in the front row.
“There is this weird code at fashion week you don’t talk to anyone, you don’t make eye contact with anyone,” she said.
But despite photographs showing Campbell awkwardly fidgeting with her hair and not knowing where to look, she made sure she said hello to the 18-year-old reality star.
“I introduced myself, she introduced herself so I can say I’ve shaken the hand of Kylie Jenner.
“It was kind of a bit of a rush, it was like ‘hi’ and ‘bye’ that’s all we said.”
The 24-year-old was flown over to New York by David Jones, whom she is now a brand ambassador for.
Campbell was also awkwardly named as a “guest” by photographers in the above photo, as local paps didn’t know who she was.
