WHEN a fight broke out in a sandwich shop in the US, Jamie Lynn Spears sprung into action and grabbed a huge knife from behind the counter.

JAMIE Lynn Spears is the kind of person who brings a knife to a sandwich shop fight.

Weeks after the 23-year-old mother of one reportedly broke up a late-night fight at a Louisiana Pita Pit by waving around a large knife in the sandwich shop, video of the melee has finally surfaced, courtesy of TMZ.

After pulling her friend away from the fracas, Britney Spears’ younger sister can be seen walking behind the restaurant’s counter to grab a 17cm long serrated knife from the pita prep area.

As a restaurant employee talks on the phone — presumably to authorities — Jamie Lynn can be seen preparing to walk out from behind the counter before the former Zoey 101 star ends up waving the large knife at the crowd until things calm down.

Although authorities were called, no arrests were made in the aftermath of the free-for-all.
