MILEY Cyrus celebrated her birthday by letting loose on Instagram - and the wacky pics are bizarre even for her.

HAPPY 22nd Birthday Miley Cyrus! Turn up the twerking music.

The Bangerz singer started the birthday celebration by posting a photo of her blowing out the candles on a huge cake the shape of a pizza captioned “It’s my buuuurffffdayyyy”.

This was followed by a throwback photo of Miley as a little birthday girl with the caption “Turn uppp!”

Miley Cyrus has quickly become known for posting some cray cray photos on Instagram but in the lead up to her birthday she has up the ante with some bizarre ‘edits’ all week, including photos showing her affinity to all things pizza.

She also celebrated true to Miley form in West Hollywood at Factory Nightclub, joined by her famous new beau, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
