Gigi Hadid has made her return to the runway for Versace in her first fashion appearance since giving birth to her daughter.
Wearing multiple outfits, Hadid opened the Italian luxury label’s fall/winter ‘21 virtual show – presented in the form of a short film.
In it, Hadid wore a black-on-black outfit featuring a coat, midriff-revealing crop top and a skirt, teamed with tights and towering platform heels.
She later sported a dramatic sheer sleeved logo-print dress, with a pair of high-waisted briefs underneath.
Former Victoria’s Secret model Hadid – who also debuted a new red hair look at Versace’s show – welcomed daughter, Khai, to boyfriend Zayn Malik in September.
Gigi was joined by her sister Bella Hadid, along with Australian supermodel Adut Akech, Irina Shayk and Rianne von Rampaey for Versace’s presentation.
Models strutted on mini-catwalks within a huge wooden set that was shaped in the form of Donatella Versace’s new Grecian-inspired logo print, dubbed “La Greca”.
The logo featured on Versace’s new season bags, shoes and clothes, including a set of long gloves sported by Bella (teamed with pirate-style headwear).
Appearing on the cover of US Vogue last month, Gigi, 25, opened up about her at-home birth and motherhood.
“I was an animal woman,” Hadid said of the 14-hour labour, adding that she was taking a low-key approach to her modelling return.
“I’m veering toward things that feel more stable than being in a different country every week,” Hadid said.
In a sweet Instagram post, Hadid announced Khai’s birth in September: “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world”.
