Down-to-earth mum Erica Packer jets into Sydney with family in tow
LOOKING fresh and casual in jeans and sneakers, Erica Packer has jetted into Sydney with her three young children.
ERICA Packer has jetted back into the country from the US for Christmas with her three children in tow.
The ex-wife of James Packer arrived in Sydney yesterday morning with her kids, Indigo, 7, Jackson, 5 and Emmanuelle, 3.
She looked casual in Balmain jeans, Adidas sneakers and sunnies as the group ambled through the airport.
Nowhere to be seen was Erica’s partner Seal, who she went public with in July, and who is believed to still be in the United States.
It’s been a tough year for Packer, who farewelled her father Michael Baxter, who died unexpectedly at the age of 72 in March while on a family holiday in Fiji.
His death followed that of his wife Sheelah, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2011.
James Packer is still in the US with his partner, songstress Mariah Carey. He also spent the weekend with Nine TV host, Karl Stefanovic.
Stefanovic shared a picture of himself with the billionaire on social media (above), which he captioned: “I just love time with family and the best of friends over Christmas.”
Sources say Stefanovic’s close alliance with Packer is putting a strain on his relationship with former Nine CEO David Gyngell and may have hindered his recent contract negotiations.
