Comedian Chelsea Handler tweets topless picture from New Orleans Mardi Gras

OFTEN slammed for sharing too much, this comedian was all covered up in her latest Tweet from the New Orleans Mardi Gras - except for her breasts, which were proudly on display.

SHE is not averse to showing off her private parts.

Comedian and former TV host Chelsea Handler has tweeted baring her breasts at Mardi Gras New Orleans.

Handler, 39, celebrated the event with the likes of actress Sandra Bullock and comedian Whitney Cummings.

Handler, who hosted late-night talk show Chelsea Lately from 2007 to 2014, also tweeted a photograph of another Mardi Gras reveller revealing a lot of skin.

“This woman would never get on Instagram,” Handler tweeted alongside the topless shot.

Handler has been in dispute with the social media site who have taken down topless shots she posted.

“If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it’s OK, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?” she posted after the image was removed.

In an interview with Elle magazine, Handler said she does not think her nudity should be censored on any platform.

“I just try to not overthink anything. Now I’m just in a war with Instagram trying to keep my topless photos on it. I don’t understand why nipples are nudity. Who cares? Men can show their nipples, but if we have breasts we can’t show them?

“And so if you’re flat-chested are you allowed to show your nipples? Is that better? And can I show one nipple, but not two? I don’t even understand. Once somebody tells me I can’t do something I have to figure out how to do it.”

On February 13, Handler posted an image of herself looking out over a balcony with her bare breasts resting on the ledge with the caption: ‘Thanks for having me Twitter.’

Neither image has been removed by the microblogging site.
