Days before announcing his split from Carrie Bickmore, producer Chris Walker spent some downtime in Byron with TV personality Dr Chris Brown.
The dad-of-two kept his head down as he took a stroll by the beach, clutching a towel and chatting with the I’m A Celeb host.

Dressed in a trucker cap, shorts, sneakers and a tank top, Walker looked downcast during the low-key Byron catch-up, where he and now-ex Carrie Bickmore own a luxury holiday home.
The couple appear to have been spending the summer holiday break in the popular tourist town, with Carrie Bickmore pictured earlier this month with their kids on the beach.
Walker’s now-ex was all smiles as she frolicked in the sea in a fluoro yellow one piece.
During another beach day out on January 5th, Walker and Bickmore embraced on the sand.
Bickmore and Walker’s split after more than a decade together has come as a shock today, with the pair dropping a joint statement on social media this morning.
“Hi there. It’s with immense sadness that (Carrie) and I have decided to separate,” they wrote.
“While this is a tough time, our focus is to concentrate on parenting, loving and supporting our three amazing children, Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we’ve got. They are doing great.
“We won’t be making any further comment at this stage.”
Walker and Bickmore met on the set of The Project in 2012, two years after the presenter lost her first husband, Greg Lange, to brain cancer.
He became a stepfather to Bickmore and Lange’s son, Ollie, and in 2015, the couple welcomed their first child together – a daughter Evie. Three years later, they became parents once more with the arrival of another girl, Adelaide.
Last year, the family enjoyed a few months living in the UK, with Bickmore stepping away from The Project desk at the time.
Announcing the move on social media, Bickmore wrote: “We feel like this is our last chance to do something like this together before Ollie hits the pointy end of his schooling and no longer wants to hang out with us so … we are heading to the UK for a school term.”
Shortly after her return, the former Channel 10 personality announced she was resigning from The Project, farewelling fans in November.
Her split from Walker comes eight months after the TV producer was embroiled in a nude Skype scandal.
In May last year, he narrowly avoided disciplinary action from the ABC for accidentally revealing himself to his co-workers after a video meeting.
Bickmore remained tight-lipped over the incident as it gripped headlines, though some speculated it may have put strain on their relationship.
