HE’S a little behind the eight ball with social media, but Chris Hemsworth has finally joined Instagram.

The Aussie actor posted his very first photo on Monday, a selfie with a giant snake slithering through the grass in the background.

He captioned the pic: “Hangin’ with the locals in my backyard … the real Jurassic Park!”

With just one post, the Thor hunk scored more than 243,000 followers — and counting.

The 32-year-old Hemsworth brother is just on the heels of his younger sibling Liam, who joined at the end of August.

Elsa Pataky on the other hand, who married Chris in December 2010 and has three children with the actor, has been delighting fans with adorable family pics for a while now.

The Spanish-born model and actress also shared a photo of the family’s “new housemate” inside their Byron Bay home this week.

While we’re not too sure about the Hemsworth’s new pet, we love all of Pataky’s #famgrams.

“Our trip back to Australia, all in pyjamas ready for a looong way! Imagine flying in the sky,” she captioned the below photo.
