Celebrity photographer Terry Richardson is going to be a father

CONTROVERSIAL photographer Terry Richardson, the man behind Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball clip and Kate Upton’s bikini dancing video, is set to be a dad.

CONTROVERSIAL photographer Terry Richardson is moving into a new chapter at 50 — fatherhood.

Multiple sources tell The New York Post that Richardson’s former assistant-turned-girlfriend Alexandra Bolotow is pregnant and that the couple’s been discreetly telling friends.

A source also said that Bolotow’s three or four months along.

The 30-something Bolotow has also known Richardson for 10 years, and she appeared in 90 explicit photos by the fashion photographer in his 2005 book, Kibosh.

She reportedly met him when she was still a New York University student, then became an intern for Richardson before working for him full time and later studying anthropology at Columbia.

Bolotow was also one person who rushed to Richardson’s defence last year during a media firestorm when he was accused of sexual misconduct by a number of models, though none of them ever brought charges against him.

He has variously been described as “fashion’s favourite pervert” and “the Annie Leibovitz of his generation.”

“I think part of being a strong woman is owning the decisions that you’ve made in your life,” Bolotow said in a 2014 New York magazine cover story on Richardson and the controversy. “Trying to put the onus onto someone else for your own decisions is really cowardly and kind of dishonest.”

Richardson — who’s known for shooting subjects from Barack Obama and LeBron James to Miley Cyrus (including directing her infamous Wrecking Ball video), Lady Gaga and Beyoncé for magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and GQ — had penned his own piece refuting the claims.

“I have never used an offer of work or a threat of rebuke to coerce someone into something that they did not want to do,” he said.

“I give everyone that I work with enough respect to view them as having ownership of their free will and making their decisions accordingly.”

Kate Upton also lashed out at the snapper for releasing the raunchy Cat Daddy video which launched her career.

In New York mag, Bolotow said that she and Richardson “have a lot of conversations about things — the weird moral quandary of sexual things.”

Seems the conversations will soon extend to nappies. Bolotow, Richardson and his rep didn’t comment.
