The Aussie actress and her eldest son, Dashiell, 13, were photographed on Thursday walking in Gladesville with the tiny baby snuggled to her chest.
The newest member of Blanchett’s family with playwright Andrew Upton, Edith Vivian Patricia Upton, has had a busy first week after flying home to Australia from the US nine days ago following the adoption.

Close sources said she has not left her mother’s arms as she settles into life on Sydney’s north shore and has spent her first week meeting friends and associates of Blanchett and Upton’s arts circle.
Blanchett’s three sons — Dashiell, Roman, 10, and Ignatius, 6 — look to be delighting in their new roles as big brother to the tiny baby girl, who is believed to be about three weeks old.
