CAREY Mulligan revealed that she had given birth to a baby girl this week, and now the actress has spilled on the bub’s name.

The 30-year-old British star revealed to ET at the New York premiere of her new film Suffragette that she and her husband had named their newest addition Evelyn.
But Mulligan said there’s not necessarily any meaning behind the moniker, the couple “just came up with it”.
The Great Gatsby star announced the sex of her first child during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Monday. “It is a girl and she’s three weeks old,” she said.
Last week, Mulligan stepped out for the first time since becoming a mother at the London premiere of Suffragette, also starring Meryl Streep and Helena Bonham Carter.
Mulligan, 30, and Mumford, 28, the lead singer of folk band Mumford & Sons, only revealed their pregnancy in April.
The famously private stars have known each other since childhood and started dating in 2011 before quietly tying the knot in April 2012.
“She is just enjoying this time with her family and close friends,” a source told E! News.
The mum-to-be managed to keep her growing baby bump concealed in a structured gown while arriving to the Tony Awards back in June, where she was nominated for best performance by an actress in a leading role in a play for Skylight.
A source told US Weekly at the time: “They weren’t planning on announcing, but she hasn’t stopped working. Everybody around her is being very supportive. The show ends soon and they’re going back to England after.”
Mumford’s Grammy-winning band is scheduled to resume its worldwide tour in November and will head to Australia for a handful of shows.
Suffragette hits cinemas in Australia on Boxing Day.
