Blake Lively reveals why she gave her daughter James a boy’s name

BLAKE Lively and Ryan Reynolds made the unusual decision to call their daughter James, now they’ve revealed why.

BLAKE Lively has finally revealed why she gave her daughter a boy’s name.

The actress, who welcomed baby James with husband Ryan Reynolds in December told Good Morning America: “It’s a family name, and I liked having a boy’s name, so I thought I’d pass it on.”

She also shared the one invaluable piece of advice for her daughter as she grows up: “Don’t let anyone tell you no.”

Lively later told Live! With Kelly and Michael that her daughter has changed the way she sees the world.

“Everything is different. You see a balcony and you’re like, ‘Oh God, the hotel needs to demolish this balcony because my child can’t go anywhere near it.’ So, everything is just like, so much more heightened. We’re crying all the time for no reason.”
