ASHTON Kutcher has taken to social media to blast news outlets for publishing paparazzi photos of his seven-month-old daughter, Wyatt.

The actor publicly slammed online publications on Twitter after photos emerged of a casually dressed Kutcher carrying his baby girl in his arms, with a clear view of her smiling face. It’s the first time fans have seen Wyatt in full view.

“Why is it so hard for publications to respect that I would like the identity of my child kept private for safety reasons? Pls honor that,” he implored his 16.9 million followers.

The paparazzi pics were taken while Kutcher and Mila Kunis were visiting the seaside town of Carpinteria, California, with Mila’s parents.

In the family photos, Wyatt sits comfortably in her father’s arms wearing a Control Freak T-shirt, striped black-and-white leggings, white sneakers and a polka dot headband. The adorable tot is smiling and doesn’t seem to be bothered at all by the cameras. The Two and a Half Men star also appears unfazed by the attention and isn’t attempting to conceal his daughter from view.

Several media outlets have chosen to publish uncensored versions of the famous couple’s child, while many have opted to respect the 37-year-old’s wishes.

Since Wyatt’s birth last September, Kutcher and Kunis have been vocal about protecting their daughter’s privacy.

In October, the engaged pair revealed the name of their firstborn child on Kutcher’s website, but hid Wyatt’s identity by posting photos of six newborns with the challenge: “Can you guess which one is ours, or does it really matter? All babies are cute.”

After her birth, the tech investor publicly wished Wyatt a life “filled with wonder, love, laughter, health, happiness, curiosity, and privacy.”

In February last year, actors Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard launched the No Kids Policy, which aims to stop sharing, buying or posting photos of celebrities’ kids taken without consent.

Stars such as Jennifer Garner, Halle Berry, Minnie Driver, Eric Dane and Michelle Williams have thrown their support behind the cause.

Given Kunis and Kutcher’s high profile and their decision to remain incredibly private about their firstborn, there was always going to be plenty of interest surrounding little Wyatt’s first public outing. The paparazzi photos were taken in a popular location where the pair often visit and Kutcher holds his daughter facing out for all to see.

So does the lack of privacy come with the territory, or are the media outlets in the wrong? Share with us below.
