SINGER Ashlee Simpson and partner, Hunger Games star Evan Ross, have welcomed their first child together.

SINGER Ashlee Simpson and partner, Hunger Games star Evan Ross, have welcomed their first child together.

MTV reports the as-yet unnamed girl was born on Thursday night.

It’s Simpson’s second child but Ross’s first.

Simpson gave birth to a son, Bronx Mowgli, during her previous marriage to Fall Out Boy singer Pete Wentz.

“No matter what, with every child it’s different,” Simpson told People back in April. “It feels new to me too, and it’s been six years, so I’m like, ‘Here we go! We gotta learn how to get the swaddle on again!’”

Simpson and Ross, who is the son of singer Diana Ross, were first linked in July 2013 and married in December last year.

Ross will next appear in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, which premieres on November 20.
