Meghan Markle has shared a new video of her children in a Halloween family video, giving fans a glimpse of the Sussexes’ family life.
The clip, set to the classic song California Dreamin’, showed Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet running through a field as their dad Prince Harry carved a pumpkin.
In one scene, a black-clad Meghan held hands with a casually dressed Harry as Archie raced through a pumpkin patch.
In another, the little boy helped his dad Harry carefully scoop out pumpkin seeds.
The children’s faces were not revealed but their signature auburn locks, inherited from Prince Harry, were on full display.
In a heartwarming moment, six-year-old Archie was pictured dashing through a maze, while four-year-old Lilibet was pictured riding a rustic cart pulled by mum Meghan.
In another shot, Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland, the only grandparent to have regular contact with Archie and Lilibet due to Harry and Meghan’s estrangement from their families, could be seen trying her hand at some Halloween-themed craftwork.
Posting the video to Instagram, Meghan added the simple caption: “Happy Sunday.”
MEGHAN’S PUBLICIST JOINS STAFF EXODUS
The sweet video comes after Meghan lost her 10th publicist in five years – with her latest communications director resigning after three months.
Meghan poached Emily Robinson from Netflix in June as her and Prince Harry’s director of communications – but a friend told the Daily Mail “things must have been pretty horrible” for her to jump ship.
Ms Robinson had worked on Netflix’s acclaimed royal drama, The Crown, a show which has been accused of containing damaging narratives about the Royal Family.
She previously ran publicity for episodes which showed Prince Harry in Nazi fancy dress and sympathetic storylines on Mohammed Al-Fayed.
“It was her decision. She left a few weeks ago,” one of Robinson’s friends told the Daily Mail.
“She’s not a quitter, so things must have been pretty horrible for her to go.”
The Sussexes are understood to have hired at least 10 publicists since they quit the Firm for their new self-funded life in California in 2020.
However, two of those have been promoted into non-PR jobs.
“Ms Robinson oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of With Love, Meghan and additional support for the production company,” a spokesman for the couple said.
“She did an excellent job and completed these projects with great success.”
In recent months it emerged that the royal couple had fired a host of key aides after blaming them for a string of PR humiliations.
This year’s embarrassments include January’s take-down of Meghan in Vanity Fair, reigniting bullying allegations and headlined “American Hustle”.
In February experts described the rebranding of her American Riviera Orchard food brand to As Ever as chaotic.
Her six-part Netflix cooking show was savaged by reviewers in both the UK and US, while her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder quickly tumbled down ratings.
Meghan was also caught out calling herself “Her Royal Highness” in a potential breach of the 2020 Megxit agreement struck with the late Queen.
The Sussexes responded by firing two directors of communications in what insiders described as a purge.
UK-based Charlie Gipson went along with California-based Kyle Boulia.
Deesha Tank, who worked for the couple’s Archewell foundation for three years, had resigned days earlier.
Meanwhile, the head of content for Meghan’s Instagram account also left.
They then brought in firm Method Communications, who claim they are “disrupters” who “challenge the status quo”.
It is understood one of their first acts was releasing the video of heavily pregnant Meghan dancing in a maternity unit as she tried to induce Lilibet’s birth.
The clip was widely panned but pulled in 42 million views.
Photos of Lilibet and six-year-old brother Archie, with their faces covered by emojis, were then posted online showing the kids in Disneyland.
Ms Robinson was hired a few weeks before the cull.
