Kanye West airs bizarre theory about A-list celebrity in leaked video

In newly-emerged footage, Kanye West has aired a string of bizarre theories about a fellow A-list celebrity and a member of the Kardashian family.

Kanye West has called fellow rapper Cardi B an “Illuminati plant” in leaked video.

The US singer, 46, could be seen in the clip, which is going viral on X, trashing Cardi while speaking to an unknown person on the phone. It’s understood the footage was shot in 2018.

“Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” the father-of-four is heard saying.

“She don’t write her raps. She just there to sound as ignorant as possible. She’s literally replaced Nicki Minaj purposely … She thinks it’s a blessing from the universe, it ain’t no f**king blessing.”

West and Cardi have since collaborated together on music with the 2022 song Hot Sh*t.

Cardi, 30, seemingly attempted to pour cold water on the video on Monday, as she shared a video on X of a 2022 interview West conducted where he spoke positively about her.

“I always believed in her since she was on the show, period,” West said in the interview, referencing Cardi’s rise to fame on the reality show, Love & Hip Hop, which she starred on from 2015 to 2017.

It’s understood the footage of West will form part of the BBC’s upcoming documentary, We Need To Talk About Kanye, which will air later this year.

The documentary, which was commissioned by the network in February, aims to explore the turbulent life and career of West, and is helmed by acclaimed journalist Mobeen Azhar.

Elsewhere in the leaked video, West also claimed Kris Jenner’s longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble is “in the CIA [Central Intelligence Agency]”.

“Yes Corey’s CIA, he didn’t even have to say it, I know it,” West is heard saying. “He’s Illuminati. That’s why Cardi B was over there [at his house].”

Cardi made headlines in August 2018 when she had dinner with Jenner, 67, and Kardashian at their family home in California.

The trio shared a selfie of their unexpected hangout on Instagram at the time.

West was still married to Kim Kardashian when the clip was filmed, with the couple sharing four young children together.

Kardashian, 42, filed for divorce from West in early 2021, following his infamous outburst at a presidential campaign rally in late 2020 and subsequent Twitter meltdowns targeting his wife and her famous family.
