David Beckham worried he’s ‘lost’ son Brooklyn Beckham forever

David Beckham fears history is repeating itself after the fued between Brooklyn and the family continues to rage behind the scenes.

David Beckham is reportedly concerned history is repeating itself and he could lose touch with son Brooklyn Beckham the same way he lost touch with his own father.

It’s been widely claimed that a bitter feud has struck the Beckhams, with a divide widening between Brooklyn and the rest of his family that only seems to be worsening.

It’s not the first time David has found himself at the centre of a family war. Before reconnecting with his father in 2007 after a terrifying health scare, they pair hadn’t spoken for more than two years.

Now, an insider close to the family has revealed that David is worried that he’s reliving the nightmare all over again but this time with his own son.

“David and the family genuinely fear Brooklyn could be lost to them forever,” a source told The Sun.

“The word ‘lost’, here, is especially poignant as it was the exact sentiment used when David fell out with his dad.”

“Ted believed his son would never speak to him again, and he was heartbroken. It was an extremely tense few years, and devastated the whole family,” added the insider.

Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, 30, are said to be very close to her billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia, but “never go to [Beckham] family events anymore” or visit David and Victoria, a source in the know revealed.

Things have gotten so bad that they haven’t been seen with the rest of Brooklyn’s family since Christmas.

The nail in the coffin came when Brooklyn failed to turn up for any of his father’s 50th birthday festivities, which culminated in a star-studded party in London on Saturday night with guests including Tom Cruise.

“David and Victoria always turn up for Brooklyn and Nicola,” a source told Page Six “whether it’s for the launch of his hot sauce brand or her movie premiere. This is just very sad.”

It’s reportedly become an absolute “nightmare” for Victoria, who has been having “sleepless nights” due to the rift.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, an insider close to the family shared: “This is Victoria’s worst nightmare. The thought of any of her children falling out gives her sleepless nights.”

On Wednesday, a source close to Peltz claimed that Brooklyn’s wife doesn’t appreciate how David “verbally berate[s]” his 26-year-old son on the phone and “scream[s] at Brooklyn for an hour.

Peltz and Brooklyn have reportedly “made themselves available for months and months to discuss all of the ongoing drama” — but are “devastated” that David, 50, and Victoria, 51, don’t want their daughter-in-law around for the conversation.

“She always talks back to them and stands up for Brooklyn,” a source explained.
