British reality star Charlotte Crosby has revealed she’s in a group WhatsApp with a bunch of Australian celebrities.

The Geordie Shore icon, 33, said the private chat featured several stars from the 2020 season of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!, which Crosby starred on.

It remains dormant most of the year, but “goes off” during each season of the Channel 10 show, with the likes of Aussie actress Rhonda Burchmore, celeb chef Miguel Maestre and comedians Tanya Hennessy and Dilruk Jayasinha all involved.

“It’s’ called ‘Brob’, because when we were in the jungle, there’s all the monkeys and we constantly felt like they were [making noises that sounded like], ‘brob’,” Crosby told news.com.au.

“The only time the chat reignites is every time there’s a new season on, we all go, ‘Oh, they’re not as good as us.’

“There’s a big slack-athon in the group chat about how ours was better and we were better.”

Crosby added she is still close with Maestre, saying the pair talk “all the time”, and also keeps in touch with retired AFL player Dale Thomas.

She famously had a romance in the jungle with former Married At First Sight star Ryan Gallagher, which fizzled out soon after the show wrapped.

It comes as the social media influencer and businesswoman signed on to star in the Australian version of the smash hit UK reality series Geordie Shore.

The mother-of-one is currently in Cairns, far north Queensland, where filming has begun on Aussie Shore – the first local iteration of the ‘Shore’ franchise, which will stream on Paramount+ at a later date.

Crosby first shot to fame as an original cast member on Geordie Shore – MTV UK’s most popular show ever – back in 2011, and in a “full circle moment”, will fill the role of ‘House Boss’ for Aussie Shore as 10 local cast members party it up in backpacker paradise.

The star has travelled with her new fiance Jake Ankers and their one-year-old daughter Alba.

“Australia … It’s like my favourite place on earth. I love being in Australia. I’ve been here for the last 15 years doing tours around everywhere,” Crosby said.

“So the fact that I was asked to be boss for the Australian version, it was just a dream. It was a dream come true.”

Crosby added, “I’ve been looking at real estate you know … On the Gold Coast.

“I’ve got loads of work in England, so I’m trying to become a multi-millionaire and then I’ll come and open a bar, where we do amazing brunches and it would be wild.”
