Rihanna is showing off her stylish (and growing) family.
Hot off the heels of her Super Bowl halftime show performance on Monday, the pregnant Umbrella singer, 34, has been announced as the March cover star ofBritish Vogue – and fans get to see a peek at her nine-month-old son in the process.
Posing with her partner A$AP Rocky and their baby, whose name has yet to be revealed, Rihanna looked sultry in a sexy black Chanel dress with a high slit on the cover.
She strides confidently in front of the rapper – who wears a leather vest and leather pants while holding and kissing their son, clad in a miniature Chrome Hearts nappy – for the family moment, New York Post reports.
After her second pregnancy was made public during her Super Bowl performance, fans are no doubt eager to see more of her bold maternity outfits – and Rihanna told Vogue that she actually found pregnancy dressing to be much easier than the post-baby phase.
“Dressing for pregnancy was such a piece of cake,” she said. “But dressing in postpartum, what the f**k do you do? The week that I came home from the hospital – that was nothing but sweats and hoodies.”
Adding that she didn’t “know what to put on” because her clothes were “too small or too big,” the Grammy winner said she had to “wait it out, otherwise you end up buying so many clothes you’re not gonna use. Well, unless you get pregnant again.”
With baby number two on the way, Rihanna will definitely have plenty of outfits to use again, but in the meantime she’s having fun turning her infant into a budding style star with custom looks.
“One of my favourite outfits he has is a miniature version of one of Rocky’s,” the singer told Vogue, with the piece consisting “of a tartan kilt she had specially commissioned, worn over jeans she ripped a hole in herself”.
Adding that she tries to “push it” in terms of style, Rihanna said: “I like to dress him in things that don’t look like baby clothes.
“I put him in floral stuff. I put him in hot pink. I love that. I think that fluidity in fashion is best. I always shop in the men’s department, you know.”
Along with her own style moments to look forward to this year, fans might even get a glimpse at children’s clothing from the Fenty founder.
After she said “everything is full throttle right now,” with her makeup, skincare and lingerie/clothing brands, Rihanna admitted that she found babywear brands to be “sooo boring”.
“I feel like the kids need it,” she told Vogue when asked about her clothing line expanding to children’s styles. “Let’s get these kids cool. These kids deserve to be cool.”
