There’s another Sloane heading for the airwaves.
Belinda Sloane, wife of retired Crows champion Rory, will make her breakfast radio debut on SAFM on Friday.
She will co-host the early morning program alongside Rory’s former teammate and good friend, Bernie Vince. Belinda is filling in for regular co-host Emma Georgiadis, who is in Melbourne for a friend’s wedding.
And with Georgiadis set to go on maternity leave in two months’ time, Belinda could be in the frame to make a permanent move to radio.
Her husband Rory has enjoyed a stellar start to his media career in 2025 following his retirement last year.
He’s joined Channel 9’s stable of footy stars, featuring on the hard-hitting analysis show Footy Classified and the lighter Sunday Footy Show.
He’s also a key part of 3AW’s AFL radio coverage.
Belinda herself is no stranger to the broadcast media, having worked in a range of on-air television roles with Fox Sports and Channel 7.
She’s co-hosted Channel 7’s red carpet special ahead of the Brownlow Medal, and in 2017, she landed a presenting job on Seven’s tourism, culture and lifestyle program SA Weekender.
She has also worked on Seven’s SA sport show Footy Plus, and the Crows’ in-house television program The Crows Show.
