Margot Robbie was ready to party after winning the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award for her film Barbie at the 2024 Golden Globes.
Following the ceremony at the famed Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, the Aussie actress changed from her hot pink gown in favour of a black version of the Giorgio Armani Privé ensemble, which came complete with a matching tulle boa.
Just like with the Barbie movie press tour back in June, where all of Robbie’s red carpet outfits were inspired by the iconic Mattel doll, Robbie’s pink and black numbers recreated the 1977 SuperStar Barbie doll box set edition.
Although the star did not win Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Award for playing the titular role in the film, Barbie winning the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award was enough reason to party.
The award was only introduced this year at the Golden Globes to honour popular blockbusters, therefore the Barbie movie – on which Robbie was an executive producer – is the first-ever recipient.
Other stars were also in full party mode at afterparty at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood hosted by HBO, where Robbie was partying. Fellow Aussie actress Naomi Watts was there with husband, Billy Crudup, who was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor in TV gong for his role in Morning Wars.
This was the first time Watts and Billy Crudup, both 55, walked the red carpet together as a married couple – the pair secretly married at a Manhattan courthouse in June.
Also letting her hair down at the Chateau Marmont was Elizabeth Debecki. The Aussie actress has had a stellar year playing Princess Diana in the Netflix series The Crown, which saw her win Best Supporting Actress in a Drama at the ceremony.
Another winner on the night was Jeremy Allen White, who won the Best Actor in a Television Comedy award for the second year in a row for The Bear – more reason to celebrate at the star-studded hotel on Sunset Boulevard.
Saltburn is the movie of the moment, and all eyes were on its star Barry Keoghan at the afterparty. With his striking red suit, the actor was hard to miss.
Jennifer Lawrence may not have won the Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy category, but she did pull off a winner in her glamorous gold velvet gown as she partied away with husband Cooke Maroney.
Despite her playful threat to leave early if she didn’t win for her raunchy role in No Hard Feelings, Lawrence stuck around to rub shoulders with her fellow A-listers.
Over at Billboard’s Golden Globes afterparty in Beverly Hills, model and actress Paris Jackson was seen posing on the red carpet in a leopard-print dress.
Singer Billie Eilish also took a walk on the wild side as she showed off her dance moves at Spago Restaurant in Los Angeles.
The singer partied with her friends and her brother, Finneas, to celebrate their win for Best Original Song for the Barbie hit, What Was I Made For?
Speaking of Barbie, America Ferrera was also with Robbie and husband Ryan Williams at Chateau Marmont, although Ferrera later changed into Ugg boots when she left, opting for comfort over couture.
