Tim McGraw is no more.
The country music superstar has cancelled his October 2 concert scheduled for the Wayville Showgrounds.
The official reason, according to ticketing agency Ticketek, is “unforeseen scheduling conflicts” however The Advertiser understands that sales for the event had been slow.
The multi Grammy Award-winning artist, who’s married to country-crossover star Faith Hill, kicks off and Australian tour this weekend with shows in Brisbane, the Hunter Valley and at the Deniliquin Ute Muster.
McGraw was originally scheduled to play at Botanic Park, with the venue being changed to Wayville last month.
Ticketek says all tickets purchased electronically through official agencies will be automatically refunded within 15 days. If you purchased a ticket in person you will be contacted within the next 10 days to arrange a refund.
