Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience captures everything there is to love about the classic British TV comedy Fawlty Towers.
It’s an immersive dining experience that will catapult you back into 1975’s favourite Torquay hotel.
Prepare to be served a good helping of silliness alongside your three-course meal with Basil, Sybil and Manuel.
Jamie Burgess as Basil Fawlty is relentlessly authentic, depicting every characteristic of the high and mighty hotel proprietor, famously brought to life on the small screen by John Cleese.
His incredible performance perfectly depicts each mannerism and nuance enough to leave you wondering if he is a descendant of the British sitcom god.
Ayesha Tansey’s Sybil wows you with her singing abilities (or cover your ears…), while Luke Alleva, as Manuel, skips from table to table, shocking his guests with all kinds of bizarre stunts.
The show is seamless, re-enacting iconic skits, and the cast members interact with the audience, making you feel like a guest star in their performance.
Whether you’ve seen every episode one hundred times, or you have never even heard of Fawlty Towers, you will be laughing and joining in the fun.
Adelaide Royal Coach is a cosy and inviting venue, and the hearty three-course meal mirrors that of a British pub – warming soup and a filling chicken main, polished off with panna cotta.
The trio will be back at the venue on Father’s Day Eve – Saturday, September 3.
So be sure to book Dad in for dinner at the anything but faulty, Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience.
