Adelaide singer Annaleese Fuda, fiancee of MMA fighter Antonio ‘The Spartan’ Caruso, to star on Seven’s The Voice Australia

She’s used to the roar of the crowd as she watches her MMA fighter beau battle it out the ring. Now this Adelaide singer is set to take centre stage on The Voice Australia.

Adelaide’s Annaleese Fuda is used to the roar of the crowd as she watches her fiance, MMA fighter Antonio Caruso, battle it out in the ring.

But now the singer and model is ready to take centre stage and fight for a spot on the new season of Seven’s The Voice Australia.

“I’m a bit of a spur-of-the-moment person so I thought yeah, why not give it a go and see what happens?” said the 27-year-old.

“It’s a great opportunity to get my face and voice back out there. It’s a fun experience whatever happens.”

Fuda, who works at Azalia Boutique, was just 18 when she first auditioned for the TV talent show in 2015.

Unfortunately she failed to win over any of the then-coaches, including Ricky Martin, Jessie J, Delta Goodrem and The Madden Brothers.

She’s hoping to turn things around this season with veteran Guy Sebastian joined by new mentors LeAnn Rimes, Adam Lambert and Kate Miller-Heidke.

“I was so young the first time around. Too young. The nerves overtook me,” admitted Fuda, who does regular gigs around town including corporate events and weddings.

“I’ve been singing my whole life but I think I’m a completely different person now, I know myself better and my musical style.”

Forever in her corner will be Caruso, her beau of five years. Known as The Spartan, the 33-year-old is a top MMA fighter who’s working towards a spot in the lucrative UFC.

Fuda and Caruso spend many months of the year overseas at their Florida base in the US as he competes against the world’s best MMA fighters. Now Caruso is ready to lend his support as his fiancee follows her dreams.

“He’s so excited. He's a very supportive person. He’s always pushing me to do more, he’s always the one who’s saying, ‘Get yourself out there’,” she said.

“We’re very supportive of each other. I’m very lucky.”

The Voice Australia season 13 premieres at 7.30pm on August 19 on the Seven Network.
