Adelaide radio ratings: Third survey of 2024 has Triple M trio dominating breakfast slot

Is Triple M still Adelaide’s top-rating breakfast show or has Mix 102.3’s Max & Ali managed to make it to No. 1? Results for the third radio ratings survey of 2024 are in.

Triple M has scored a massive victory in the latest radio ratings – it not only has Adelaide’s No. 1 breakfast show, but is now also the top station overall.

Its brekky team – Chris Dittmar, Laura O’Callaghan and Mark Ricciuto – finished on top yet again with a convincing win of 16.4 share points, up 1.5 from last survey. The result was a whopping 4.2 points ahead of its nearest competitor, FIVEAA.

Triple M also won the overall rankings on 13.7, with previous top station Mix 102.3 dropping to second spot on 12.3.

Mix 102.3’s Max & Ali in the Morning ranked fourth in the breakfast timeslot at 10.8 after dipping two points.

Hosts Ali Clarke and Max Burford would have been hoping to make it to No. 1 after being runner-up last survey.

But second spot went to FIVEAA brekky duo David Penberthy and Will Goodings, who gained 0.4 to finish with 12.2 – 4.2 points behind Triple M.

ABC Adelaide’s new breakfast presenters Sonya Feldhoff and Jules Schiller were in third place with 11.5, up 0.6.

After Mix in fourth place this survey, it was a close race for fifth and sixth place.

Nova 919’s Jodie Oddy and Andrew Hayes were fifth with 8.6, and SAFM’s Bec Morse and Mark Soderstrom were in sixth spot with 8.5.
