360 Allstars

Circus *****

Royal Croquet Club, Panama Club, until March 19

THE packaging for circus is getting more slick, better dressed, and faster paced than ever before. 360 Allstars is first and foremost a live music powerhouse, with a Gene Peterson on drums and bass synth and Sam Perry on looped vocals setting up hip hop storms of big rhythms and cathedral sounds.

They introduce a rare mixture of talents, from two break dancers to a cyr wheel artist, a trick cyclist and a basket ball trickster.

Every scene is staged with theatrical and musical razzle dazzle, but the talents are doing their bit with spectacular moves including some breathtaking breakdancing and basketball nuttiness.

They complete the show with ensemble work that keeps breaking the boundaries with spectacle, lighting and sound cues. This is a great show.
