National Wine Centre for first time to host Adelaide Fringe events — starting with 2018

WHILE many minds at this time of year turn to the festive season, with the warmer weather will soon come the Adelaide Fringe Festival — with a new venue to boot.

WHILE many minds at this time of year turn to the festive season, with the warmer weather will soon come the Adelaide Fringe Festival — with a new venue to boot.

In 2108, the National Wine Centre will be a major venue for the first time, hosting around 70 events from cabaret to music to film to theatre.

While the full 2018 program will be released on Friday, a sneak peek given to The City revealed acts including Keith Conlon’s Horrible History of Adelaide, Manchild ... The Lost Aussie Rock Musical, Pirates of Penzance, and tribute groupThe 60 Four.

Having recently performed at the Royal Adelaide Show, the vocal quartet will perform a brand new show with classics by favourite 60s artists like Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Neil Sedaka and Johnny O’Keefe, complete with four-part harmonies and slick dance moves. The show will also mark the debut of new The 60 Four member Jack Conroy.
