Irwin, who was born into fame as the youngest child of late Steve Irwin and wife Terri, has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the media landscape over the past year, where he delighted viewers with his incredibly successful - and high-pressure - gig hosting Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity alongside industry stalwart Julia Morris.

Yet again, Irwin has managed to surprise the masses, with his sexy campaign spawning hilarious reaction on social media.

“Robert I’m trying to be a lesbian over here,” the top comment read.

“You’re hired,” the official Instagram account for Magic Mike Live shared.

“I’m endangered and need rescuing,” another wrote.

“Robert I feel like I shouldn’t be seeing this,” a fourth said.

“Not me looking at Steve’s son like this,” a fifth confessed, while another wrote, “Bro calm down my wife is on this app.”

Bonds, which is pushing to expand further into the US market, chimed in via their social media account, writing, “How does it feel to break the internet?”

Indeed, dozens of reels flooded social media after Irwin’s “thirst trap” dropped Friday, with women coming to a sudden realisation: Robert Irwin is hot.

Local actress Nikki Osborne shared there were “a lot of confused middle-aged women” across the world as a result.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d see Bob Irwin was a snack. Little Bob got sexy and not even I know how to process this information,” she said.

Today host Sarah Abo was lost for words on-air Friday when Irwin’s photos were shown on screen, remarking of Irwin’s “python”: “It is quite long, isn’t it?”

Irwin told People in the US he had no hesitation stripping off for the campaign, adding it was “a pretty immediate yes.”

“I’m at this point in my life where I’m trying to do as many different and random exciting things, and if it’s something that makes me a little bit nervous, that I’ve never done before and it’s a bit of an adrenaline rush? That’s what I want to be doing,” he said.
