The state’s corruption watchdog is seeking submissions from the public in its evaluation of the practices and procedures of TAFE SA. Commissioner for the Independent Commission Against Corruption, Ann Vanstone announced the assessment in March.

She said the educator would be evaluated over its human resources management, procurement and contract management, and asset facilities management.

It will also examine how TAFE SA claims and reports subsidy payments from the government and the management of relationships between staff and students.

Ms Vanstone encouraged people to email or post in contributions to ICAC from the public, industry groups, union members, and individuals or bodies with interest in the evaluation.

She said her team was interested to hear thoughts about how TAFE SA deals with the risk of corruption. “This can include any information relevant to he scope of the evaluation,” Ms Vanstone said.Submissions close at 5pm Friday June 3.
