SA families will soon have greater access to childhood education with a nationally recognised early learning provider announcing plans to launch five new centres across Adelaide.
G8 Education has unveiled the first concept image of its first SA-based Great Beginnings centre on the corner of Burman and Wandana Avenues in Gilles Plains.
The centre, currently under construction, will be first of five childcare centres to open across metro Adelaide, providing 105 placements for children from six weeks to six years of age.
Planning is also underway to create centres north and south of the city, providing placement for an additional 500 children over the coming years.
G8 Education CEO and Managing Director, Gary Carroll, said opening the new centres in SA was part of G8’s long-term vision to help families gain access to unparalleled learning and care.
He said the company currently operates more than 470 childcare centres nationally
“We’re excited to introduce South Australian families to our leading edge Great Beginnings Gilles Plains centre, and we have more new centres to come,” Mr Carroll said.
“The five new centres will support at least 120 jobs and enable hundreds of families to access learning environments purposefully designed to engage and support children to discover, grow and learn.
“G8 Education’s centres benefit from the company’s sector leading Education Strategy, which our dedicated team has designed to create a foundation for lifelong learning and development through innovative and evidence-based teaching methods.
“Our environments provide children with multiple play spaces including a climbing fort, creek bed, and gardens specifically designed to enhance children’s learning and exploring outdoors.”
The Gillies Plains centre is expected to open later this year.
