An article published on Monday by The Advertiser headlined “Poo vandal strikes at Westminster School” included a photograph of Simon Shepherd, the principal of Westminster School, alongside the headline.
The Advertiser would like to make it clear that it is not suggested that Mr Shepherd has engaged in any wrongdoing. The use of the image and all references to him in the article were merely in his capacity as principal of Westminster School.
The Advertiser is happy to clarify that Mr Shepherd is investigating and addressing the vandalism incident and has at all times acted with the utmost propriety.
