We’re mapping all confirmed cases of COVID-19 around South Australia to show where outbreaks are most pronounced.

This is the latest data from SA Health about the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in council areas around the state.

The Advertiser has enhanced the raw government data by creating an interactive map that shows relevant population and demographic information for each council area, to give additional context.

Experts say higher socio-economic suburbs are often the areas first affected by COVID-19, presumed to be because residents are more likely to have recently taken a cruise or a flight.
