Where Australians and their kids can get Covid vaccines and booster jabs

A complete list of every GP clinic, state run clinic and chemist where vaccines are offered is now available to all Aussies. See the list here.

Australia’s Covid-19 booster vaccine rollout is underway, and from Monday, children between the ages of 5 and 11 will be able to get their first jab.

Covid-19 Taskforce Commander, Lieutenant General John Frewen has called on all Australians to get vaccinated, as the government published a master list of every GP clinic, state run clinic and chemist where vaccines are available.

The list contains locations of every location in each state and territory where Australians can get AstraZeneca, Pfizer for those age 12+, Pfizer for those age 5-11 and Moderna.

“More than 40 per cent of those eligible have already got a booster and I encourage all Australians to come forward as they become eligible to get that extra level of protection,” he said.

General Frewen said there are enough doses of the Pfizer vaccine for children in Australia, despite some people experiencing delays.

He also suggested parents call around to try and secure an appointment.

“We have sufficient doses of the kids Pfizer in country to offer all kids a first jab in January but can I urge people to be patient and if necessary, phone around to find an appointment at the earliest time,” he said.

“There are more than 10,000 vaccination sites across the country and more than enough doses for everyone eligible to get a booster, so whether it’s at your usual GP, a pharmacy or a state run clinic, come forward and get a jab.

“I’d like to thank the work of GPs, pharmacies and health workers at state clinics who have worked tirelessly across the Christmas period and continue to put in long hours so Australians can get their boosters as soon as possible.”
