List of second round of healthcare workers who must get vaccinated

A huge list shows the second round of healthcare workers – and people who visit healthcare centres for work – who must get vaccinated.

How will COVID-19 testing work with international travel?

A second tranche of healthcare workers have been ordered to get a Covid-19 vaccination by November 8, under new legal directions.

They include primary community healthcare facilities including general practice and dental clinics, private nurse offices, pharmacies, private pathology centres, defence health settings, Aboriginal community controlled health services as well as various specialist outpatient areas.

A police spokesman said it included anyone who attended a healthcare setting for work or incidental duties, including delivery drivers or suppliers.

Those exempt include workers with medical certificates, which is also supported by chief public health officer, Professor Nicola Spurrier, or her delegate.

The healthcare workers must have received at least one vaccine, have had a second or proof of a booking and provide their healthcare setting with their vaccination status upon request.

Workers in public or private hospitals requiring a COVID-19 vaccination by November 1.
