A very tasty tune

Remember a couple of months ago when actress Gal Gadot led an online celebrity singalong to John Lennon’s classic Imagine? Yeah I’m trying to forget too. This should help. More than a dozen comedians, including Bryan Cranston, Sarah Silverman and Patton Oswalt, have teamed up for a special quarantine tune, belting out a palatable version of Weird ‘Al’ Yankovic’s Eat It — which originally parodied Michael Jackson’s 1984 chart-topper Beat It.

Dame Judi’s not acting

Dame Judi Dench isn’t just an award-winning actress, she’s also a rising a social media sensation. The British film star has been featuring in her grandson Sam Williams’ TikTok videos and one of their recent efforts – in which Dame Judi outsmarts him by correctly guessing all the punchlines to his jokes – will have you in stitches.

    Swanning to the kerb

Bronte Rose Mollison, 12, complete in full ballerina costume, has performed Tchaikovsky’s Black Swan Pas de Deux as she assists with taking out the bins at her family’s Brisbane home. Bronte’s performance helped her win a special online competition for young dancers unable to attend classes due to coronavirus.

    Mimicking magpie

This one will have you scratching your head in amazement. Clever magpie Morty delivers a pitch-perfect rooster impersonation in Broke, NSW, crowing at sunrise while perched on a wooden fence with pet cat Omo looking on unperturbed. Get ready, Morty’s got an impressive set of pipes.
